An XVR, or eXtended Video Recorder, is a type of digital video recorder (DVR) that supports multiple video signal formats, including analog, HD analog, and IP cameras. Unlike traditional DVRs, which primarily handle analog cameras, XVRs offer greater flexibility in surveillance system setups.
